HealthLens ("we", "us", "our") is a health results interpretation tool built and operated by a qualified Nurse Practitioner. Our website is located at healthlensz.netlify.app. You can contact us at trevorsebuliba@outlook.com.

2. What information we collect

HealthLens is designed with privacy in mind. We collect as little data as possible:

• Health result images / PDFs you upload: These are sent directly to Anthropic's Claude AI API for analysis. They are not stored on our servers and are not retained after analysis is complete.
• Credits and preferences: Stored locally in your browser's localStorage only. We never transmit this to our servers.
• Usage data: Netlify (our hosting provider) collects standard server logs including IP addresses and browser type for security and performance purposes. See Netlify's Privacy Policy.
• Payment information: Credit purchases are handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.

3. Google AdSense and advertising

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements on this website. Google AdSense uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to show you relevant ads based on your browsing history and interests.

Google and its partners may use cookies to:

• Show you personalised advertisements
• Measure ad performance and prevent fraud
• Understand how visitors use our website

HealthLens provides health information for educational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your GP, hospital doctor, or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition.

6. Cookies

We use the following cookies and local storage on this site:

• hl_credits (localStorage) — stores your remaining analysis credits. Essential for the service to function.
• hl_dev_key (sessionStorage) — stores a temporary API key during local development only. Never present on the live site.
• Google AdSense cookies — used for advertising as described in section 3 above.

You can clear all locally stored data at any time via your browser settings (Settings → Privacy → Clear browsing data → Cookies and site data).

7. Third-party services

HealthLens relies on the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policy:

• Anthropic (Claude AI) — processes your uploaded health results
• Netlify — hosts this website
• Stripe — processes payments
• Google AdSense — serves advertisements

8. Your rights

Under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the right to:

• Access any personal data we hold about you
• Request deletion of your personal data
• Object to processing of your personal data
